There’s so little guidance for Office Managers; we’re often thrown into the deep end with little training or support. It often feels like you’re on an island of 1 but serving a team anyway. It can be lonely, and without a strong support system, it can be difficult to find your way through.
Office Managers can burn out quickly; the many hats they wear and the pressures of the job, along with feeling unappreciated and unsupported, can take a massive toll. There’s also difficulty to see where this career path may lead you (other than head first into HR).
The purpose of this blog is to share knowledge and experiences and to give fellow Office Managers a place to get ideas and inspiration to make their jobs a little easier.
